What's the first thing you think of when you think back to Arkalalahs of years past?

For most people, it's not necessarily the noise of the crowd or sights and sounds of the carnival and big parade, but the delicious smells of the numerous food vendors scattered throughout the festival landscape.

Whether its local favorites like the Optimist Club's succulent pork burgers, First Assembly of God's delicious Navajo tacos and fry bread, Jefferson Elementary's yummy Jeffy Pups, or out-of-towners such as Zag's Popcorn serving, of course, popcorn and other assorted goodies from their 1950s-era stainless-steel trailer, or Mid-State Cookers exotic alligator on a stick, you're bound to find something to tickle your palate at this year's Arkalalah.

With a list like this you're not likely to go hungry at this year's Arkalalah. In fact, you may find yourself a bit overstuffed at the end of the day.
