An avid "laker" and boater, Herb and Darline retired to Grove, Okla., in 1989.
Herb served on community hospital boards, church committees and was active in other city development activities too numerous to mention. Professionally, he was honored by appointment to the state board of the Kansas Motor Car Dealers Association and the State of Kansas Highway Commission.
