Marcella Gosting
Marcella Gosting, 87, longtime Kildare resident, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at the Walnut Place Nursing Home, Dallas, Texas.
Survivors include her husband,
Donald L. Gosting, who requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to either the First United Methodist Church of Newkirk, or to the American
Cancer Society.
Arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.

Elizabeth Lessert Jones, 84, former Ponca City resident, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Saddleback Memorial Hospital, Laguna Hills, Calif.

John R. Allen, 67, of Arkansas City, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center in Arkansas City.

Pauline (Goff) Warren
Pauline (Goff) Warren, 94, of Arkansas City, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center. Funeral services have been
scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe P. Warren will officiate.
Pauline was born Dec. 11, 1913, in Arkansas City, to Herman A. and Genevieve (Moore) Goff. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Ark City High School in 1932. After high school Pauline attended Arkansas City Junior College.
On Sept. 4, 1932, she married Joe E. Warren in Arkansas City. The couple made their home in the Silverdale and Maple City area. Pauline worked as a secretary for
her husband at the State House in Topeka, for 15 years. Pauline was involved in numerous hobbies including gardening, photography, bird egg collecting and butterfly collecting.
Pauline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Jim Warren and his wife, Rita, of Arkansas City; two sisters, Genevieve Galle and Goldie Circle; five grandchildren, Joe Warren and his wife, Cindy, of San Antonio, Texas, Vicki Mohler and her husband, James, of Spokane, Mo., Debra Binford and her husband, Dwane, of Arkansas City, Tom Warren and his wife, Jolynn, of Geuda Springs, David Warren and his wife, Sharon, of Maple City; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; one infant son, David; and one daughter, Helen.
A memorial has been established with the Salvation Army. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City. On-line condolences may be made at www.rindt-erdman.com.
