Wallace R. Stovall
Wallace R. Stovall, 75, former resident of Arkansas City, and resident of San Antonio, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan 23, 2008, at home following a long illness.
Stovall was born Dec. 19, 1932, in Arkansas City. He was a retired auditor for the state of Nevada, before moving to San Antonio, Texas, in 2005.
He and Ann Swords were married Sept. 11, 1982, in Ponca City.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Leslea Adams; and son, Brian Stovall, both of Ponca City; five grandchildren, Michelle, Zachary, Ashley, Skyler Stovall, and Libby Adams, all of Ponca City; and sister, Geneva Stacy of Durham, Kan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wallace Shawn Stovall; and sister, Doris Sanders.
Arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Olinger Mortuary Service, San Antonio, Texas.
David V. Halter
David V. Halter, 50, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008.
Memorial services will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Dexter Community Center.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his parents, Pastor Vincent and Nancy Halter, of South Carolina, Robert and Sally Thompson, of Florida; brother, Mike of Florida; and sisters, Angela and Lisa, both of South Carolina; wife, Debbie, and son, Brandon of the home; son, Andy, of Montana, James, Leslye and Brailey Halter, of Dexterr.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Baker Funeral Home, Wichita.
