Helen V. Buchele (Fettig)

Helen V. Buchele (Fettig), 90, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at the Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008. Born Dec. 18, 1917, in rural Kingman County, Kan., she was the daughter of Karl and Myrtle Fettig. She graduated from Kingman High and attended business school. Survivors include her daughter, Verona, of Raytown, Mo.; one son, Kenneth, of Emporia; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and oldest son, James.

Memorials have been established in lieu of flowers with the First Baptist Church of Cedar Vale, Cedar Vale, KS 67024, The Good Samaritan Fund with Presbyterian Manor, 4712 SW Sixth, Topeka, KS 66606-2299 and the Foundation for Hospice Care, Inc., 3715 SW 29th, Topeka, KS 66614. Arrangements are under the direction of the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.


Helen M. Breeden

Helen M. Breeden, 93, Alma Kansas, formerly of Arkansas City, died Thursday (February 7, 2008) at the Alma Care Center. Funeral services are scheduled fo 2:00 p.m. tuesday (February 12, 2008) at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.
