Walter F. Caton
Walter F. Caton, 78, Winfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield.
Cremation has been effected.
Born June 21, 1929, in Little Rock, Ark., he was the son of Josiah and Lona (Rice) Caton. He served and retired from the United States Army.
Survivors include his daughters, Sandra Ayala and Debra Howe, Peoria, Ill., Colleen O'Brien, DeSoto, Mo., and Rosie Marie Paquet, Rogers, Ark.; brother, Earl Caton; sisters, Irene, Teresa and Elizabeth; 20 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Clifford Caton and Walter Caton Jr.; daughter, Arlene Caton; and three sisters, Sue, Bertha and Rosemary.
