Mary Harader

Mary Harader, of Irving, Texas, died Sunday, April 27, 2008. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. Interment followed in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. She was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Arkansas City. Survivors include her nephew, Max Harader, of Hurst, Texas; grandson, Paul Barton, of Bryant, Ark.; granddaughter, Lindsay Barton, of Dallas, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Brown's Memorial Funeral Home, Irving, Texas.


Myrna Lou (Crum) King

Myrna Lou (Crum) King, 61, Winfield, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at the William Newton Hospital, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Swisher-Taylor & Morris Chapel. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Anthony City Cemetery in Anthony. Born May 1, 1946, in Wichita, she was the daughter of Frank R. and Marjorie L. (Harper) Crum. She had worked for Casco and later Cal-Mar. Survivors include her husband, Leland O. King; mother, Marjorie L. Crum; brother, Roger Mingle; sister, Mary E. Crum; children, Ronda Thomas, Samantha D. Redd, April Berry, Charles Shaw, Connie King, Kimberly Love, Angela S. Shipman and Jacquline M. King; 26 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and stepdaughters, Jacquline A. Devaughn and Michelle King.

A memorial has been established for the Jacquline M. King Education Fund in care of CornerBank. Arrangements are under the direction of the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.


Bonnie Jean Berg

Bonnie Jean Berg, 81, of Arkansas City, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Medicalodge East. A full obituary will appear in Friday's paper.
