Bonnie R. Hittle

Bonnie R. Hittle, 84, Winfield, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Riverview Manor in Oxford. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Friday. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Born Nov. 4, 1923, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Wm. Frank and Catherine A. (Thirsk) Brown. She was a homemaker and helped her husband manage their business, Hittle Service. Survivors include her son, Dennis Loyd Hittle, Winfield; daughters, Nancy DeWeese, Yukon, Okla., and Lisa Hittle, Wichita; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loyd L. Hittle; sisters, Helen Jean Gann and Dorothy D. David.

A memorial has been established for the Riverview Manor/Van Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service, Winfield. Online condolences may be made at www.milesfuneralservice.com.


Jack Edward Gage

Funeral services for Jack Edward Gage, who died Saturday, May 3, 2008, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Hawks Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Dickson officiated. Interment was in the Springside Cemetery. Military honors were given by Spencer Ralston Post No. 1254. Musician was Steve Butler. Casket Bearers were Leland Bruton, Larry Bills, Denton Gage, John Gage Jr., Phillip Bills, and Mike Bland. Honorary bearers were Dean Sparks, Darin Sparks, Jim Bills, Merrill Atkins, Dale Dowler, Frank Bossi, Albert Bacastow Sr., John Bossi, Albert Bacastow Jr.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Hawks Funeral Home, Arkansas City.


Tommy D. Tannehill

Tommy D. Tannehill, 61, Silverdale, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at his residence.
