Down the Stretch Bulldogs can't overlook Augusta with state playoff berth in their grasp

Augusta High School's 64-9 football loss to Andale last Friday happened on Homecoming Night in Augusta, against a state power with a solid defense.

The Arkansas City Bulldogs aren't a state power, but they do possess a stingy and powerful defense, and they are playing on Homecoming Night — their own — when the two teams lock up at 7 p.m. today at Bulldog Stadium.
