The Ark City Takedown Club is sending 39 wrestlers to the district championships Saturday at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita.
The Ark City Dawgs fourth-grade basketball team captured the title Saturday at the Big Time One Day Jam Tournament in Tulsa, Okla. The Ark City Dawgs fourth-grade basketball team finished second March 6-7 at the Wichita MAYB Tournament, at the Farha Sports Complex in Wichita. The Arkansas City USBC Women's Bowling Association recently completed its annual city tournament. The Ark City Boys Baseball Association and Girls Softball Association are holding signups for summer league umpires at the Ark City Rec Center. Spring Hill Golf Course presents Polar Bear 3, set for Sunday.
