Thurber hearing tomorrow
Attorneys for Justin Thurber, who will stand trial for murder and other charges, will ask a judge tomorrow to keep certain evidence secret during pre-trial motions and close possible pre-trial hearings. The hearing is at 10 a.m. at the Winfield courthouse.
Thurber's attorneys are expected to argue that allowing certain information to be made public before the trial could unfairly influence potential jurors.
Assistant Attorney General Vic Braden will be at the hearing Friday and will replace Attorney General Paul Morrison as the lead prosecutor in the case.
