Two weekends. Two tournament titles for Arkansas City senior Scott Elliott.

Elliott pinned a Colby opponent in the 171-pound final of the Newton Tournament of Champions on Saturday to win his fourth tournament on the season. He won previous titles at Ark City, Perry and last weekend at Derby. He also improved to 26-1 on the season.

Trison Graham earned a 4-1 decision over Bishop Carroll's Jake Mainz in the consolation final to place third at 130 pounds. Clint Bruce also took third, earning a 9-3 decision over a Clay Center opponent at 189 pounds.

Ark City finished 10th in the team standings with 112.5 points. Bishop Carroll ran away with the team title, recording a staggering 245.5 points.

Ark City is off until Jan. 24, when it hosts Valley Center in dual.
