Winners of eight straight games, he Cowley College men's basketball team moved up five spots to No. 12 in the latest NJCAA Division I Basketball Poll.

The Tigers are coming off an impressive 83-68 win over seven-time defending Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division champion, Coffeyville Community College, Saturday at W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Cowley is now 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the Jayhawk East. The Tigers will look to continue their winning streak when they host Johnson County Community College Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Chipola College (Marianna, Fla), one of only five unbeaten teams remaining, is ranked No. 1 for the sixth consecutive week with a record of 20-0.
