Demonstration day
Demonstrators gathered outside City Hall on Tuesday to proclaim their views on abortion. In a 45-minute rally that featured three speakers and a choir, the Family Life Services organization, Ark City Christian Academy and local community members spoke out against what speaker Joyce Irving called a "huge mistake" made by the government and the Supreme Court; Roe Vs. Wade.

State may limit young drivers
TOPEKA -- Nick Schwager is 15 and has a restricted license that allows him to drive unsupervised to and from school. In his church youth group, Allison Ohnmacht is older and, at 16, has an unrestricted license.

Strong second quarter propels SH boys
SOUTH HAVEN -- South Haven coach Darren McDorman couldn't have been happy with the way his team opened the game Tuesday night against the Dexter Fighting Cardinals. That all changed in the second quarter as South Haven turned up the heat on defense on its way to a 68-52 win over Dexter.
