Two arrested after paintball gun rampage

From STAFF REPORTS

Two Winfield men were arrested in Ark City in the early morning hours on Friday, Jan. 25 after they admitted to using a paintball gun to damage a total of 20 vehicles, 10 houses, and three street signs.

The two men, Kyle Larsen, 18 years old, and Teague Adams, 19 years old, were found in a red car parked in the drive of the city shops on West Kansas Ave.

An Ark City police officer approached the car after he noticed it sitting in the drive of the city shops on West Kansas Ave. The driver of the vehicle pulled forward and stopped when the officer approached, the officer then made contact with Larsen and Adams, who were sitting in the car. While the officer was talking with them he noticed a paintball gun and several paint balls sitting in the car.

Adams and Larsens admitted to shooting at signs, vehicles and houses in town, one of them showed the officer were the damage was.

When both admitted to the damages they were arrested and charged with Criminal Damage to Property. Police Captain Tom Scott said he wasn't sure of the extent of the damage caused by the paintballs, or whether the paint in the balls would damage the paint on vehicles.

Second Amendment
Does the Second Amendment guarantee an individual's right to own a gun, as the Supreme Court recently ruled?

Yes, that was the intent of the founding fathers.
No, the founders were only talking about militias.
It's still unclear.
