Spring Hill hosts Polar Bear 1 tourney

Spring Hill played host to Polar Bear 1 on Jan. 5. Jeff Bryant won his second Polar Bear title after parring hole No. 6 on the first scorecard playoff to win the 'A Flight.'
Kenny Collins took home his third Polar Bear title with a round of 40 net 33 to capture 'B Flight' honors. Jim Mitchell took 'C Flight' honors in a scorecard playoff to capture his second title.
The next tournament at Spring Hill is Polar Bear 2, next Monday. The nine-hole, play-your-own ball event has tee-offs anytime during the day. Entry fee is $15. Each player will win a golf prize.
