Cowley College

Ranked sixth among NJCAA schools, the Cowley College men's tennis team got an eye opening experience as they opened its season against the University of Arkansas Sunday in Fayetteville, Ark.

Cowley dropped each of its singles and doubles matches, but Tiger head coach Josh Cobble was pleased with the effort his squad gave against the NCAA Division I Razorbacks as each one of the Tiger's singles players and doubles teams won at least one game.

"Everybody had real tough matches but fought real hard and showed a lot of promise for the season," Cobble said.

Cowley will not play again until March 1 when they travel to Topeka to take on Washburn University. The time off will allow them to get some work done in practice.

Second Amendment
Does the Second Amendment guarantee an individual's right to own a gun, as the Supreme Court recently ruled?

Yes, that was the intent of the founding fathers.
No, the founders were only talking about militias.
It's still unclear.
