A Hip Hop party and dance-off will be held from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Agri-Business Building.

It's billed as Ark City's Dancing with Our Stars II -- Hip Hop Edition, and is being organized by the Cowley College Graphic Design Department and the Ark City Middle School students.

Tickets are $15 for admission and for the soft drinks and snacks available throughout the evening. Proceeds will benefit programming of the Ark City Arts Council.

Also this weekend Creative Community Living will host its annual casino night. This event begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Winfield Community Center. TIckets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
