Police find meth lab

Arkansas City Police are charging an Arkansas City man with having a meth lab on his property. Donald Lee Graham, 44, was arrested and charged with manufacturing meth, possession of meth, and having meth paraphernalia.

According to police reports, police responded to a report of a strong odor coming from a shed at 300 S. Seventh St.

Police said they smelled a strong odor typical of meth, and after obtaining a search warrant, they found a red phosphorous meth lab in the shed.

Police Chief Sean Wallace said that type of meth lab is the most dangerous type because it is highly volatile and unstable.

Graham is being held on a $20,000 bond.
