Hearing today in Winfield
No rulings made during morning session
Hearings on various motions are being held today in Winfield in the murder trial for Justin Thurber.
He has been charged in the death of Jodi Sanderholm.
Prosecution and defense attorneys debated whether evidence seized during searches of Thurber's car and home were admissable this morning.
Prosecution attorneys wanted a ruling saying that the evidence was gathered properly.
Defense attorney Tim Frieden argued that since the evidence may or may not be relevant to the case, it was too early for such a ruling.
Judge Jim Pringle made no rulings, but agreed to hear evidence about how searches were conducted.
