Gun store opens near Winfield

Today and tomorrow Ricochet Arms will be having a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gun store is located at 17522 US Highway 160, east of Winfield just past Cowley Highway 1.

Store owner, Randy Nellsch said that the store has been open for the past two months but he postponed the grand opening because he has been waiting for promotional items to arrive.

Ricochet Arms carries a full range of products for firearm enthusiasts with hunting supplies, ammunition, hunting rifles, shotguns and plinkers. Additionally the store carries military weapons, collectible guns, and hand guns for concealed carry, tactical gear, belts, and holsters.

Nellsch said that he is in the process of building a range on site and hopes in the future to be able to conduct Concealed Carry Certification training. He was a qualified small arms instructor for the United States Air Force and works in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.
