Whether to re-install two-hour parking signs downtown is one issue city commissioners plan to talk about today at their worksession meeting.

It is one of only three items on the agenda for the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The two-hour parking signs were taken down on Summit Street and some of the avenues during the Streetscape project last year, and have not yet been put back up.

Commissioners will consider whether to put them back up, and they could set a public hearing on the matter.

Other items on the agenda include:

* Renaming City Ball Park.

* Adopting Uniform Public Offense Code for the City of Arkansas City, and modifying and deleting existing Public Offense Code. This adjusts city codes to be consistent with state ordinances and is done every year.
