Takedown Club competes in Wichita

Nine wrestlers from the Ark City Takedown Club competed last Saturday at the Wichita Classic.
Colby Watters and Cody Eastman both walked away with titles. Watters pinned all four of his opponents in less than five minutes to win the 14-and-under, 105-pound class. For his efforts, he was named the most outstanding wrestler for his age group.
Eastman won the 12-and-under, 96-pound class. He scored three pins and a major decision to win the title.
Matt McGrew (12-and-under, 165 pounds), Logan Terrill (10-and-under, 61 pounds) and Samuel Dickey (6-and-under, 43 pounds) all placed second. Trig Tennant placed fourth in the 6-and-under, 31-pound class.
Hunter Terrill (8-and-under, 58 pounds), Garrett Feck (8-and-under, 67 pounds) and Jakoda Bridges (14-and-under, 205 pounds) also competed.
