Officers examine the scene of a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon on Old U.S. 77 about a half-mile north of 322nd Road in the IXL area.

The driver of a white 2000 Ford pickup, Dale Sutterfield, 33, of Arkansas City, was pulling out of a drive to turn left (south) on the old highway when his vehicle struck another southbound pickup, a 1997 Dodge Ram, driven by Justin Parks, 20, of Ark City.

The Parks vehicle had a passenger, Adam Wiley, 22, of Ark City. No one was injured.

Sutterfield was cited for failure to yield, reported Sgt. Bruce Hafenstein, of the Cowley County Sheriff's Department.

Second Amendment
Does the Second Amendment guarantee an individual's right to own a gun, as the Supreme Court recently ruled?

Yes, that was the intent of the founding fathers.
No, the founders were only talking about militias.
It's still unclear.
