Geuda Springs musician-songwriter Bill Post will hold his annual open house this Saturday at his musical heritage museum at his family farm west of Arkansas City.
Earlier this year, Post was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in a ceremony held in Lawrence.
The museum is 8 1/4 miles west of Arkansas City on U.S. 166. "The fun begins at 1 p.m.," Post said.
Music will be provided by Donnie Huffman and Friends, and cowboy poetry by Russell Graves.
There is no admission charge. Free donuts and pop will be provided.
Huffman and his band will play and sing some Country and Gospel music. They will also perform songs from their new CDs and old favorites as well, Post said.
Also featured will be Caleb Johnston, a 17-year-old guitarist from Grainola, Okla.
The museum contains memorabilia from Post's musical career. Visitors can also see the "old milk cow" and the "old gray mule" at the homestead that inspired Post to write many songs about Kansas.
