Jorita Ann Crane, 55, a carhop at the Sonic Drive In, 1515 North Summit, suffered a broken ankle Thursday when she was struck by a truck.
Crane had just delivered an order to a customer when the accident happened, police say.
As she was walking back to the restaurant a truck towing a boat, driven by Rodney Joseph Zeman, 51 Denver, Colo., pulled into the parking lot.
Crane told police she saw the truck, but as she hurried to get back to get another order, she failed to see the boat and proceeded to cross the parking lot. She was struck by the boat and knocked to the ground.
Crane was treated by EMS workers on the scene but refused transportation to the emergency room. She was later taken by her son and was treated for a broken ankle.
Zeman was cited for no proof of insurance.
