South Haven wins big

WICHITA -- Nathan Yunker and Jake Parcher combined for seven touchdowns Friday night as the South Haven Cardinals rolled to a 54-26 victory over Wichita-Sunrise Academy in nonleague football play.

Parcher finished with 24 carries and 246 yards. He started the scoring with a 36-yard run in the first quarter and added runs of 8, 35 and 17 yards as South Haven piled up 354 yards on the ground and 506 total yards.

Yunker scored two rushing TDs and hit Reese Blaylock with a 15-yard TD pass in the second half. The senior quarterback finished with 152 yards on 6-of-12 passing.

Andrew Westerfield led the Buffaloes with 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. He also threw for two more scores, completing 13 of 28 passes for 125 yards.

The Cardinals return home next weekend to face Oxford.
