South Haven routs Attica

From STAFF REPORTS

Derrick Spencer touched the ball only four times last night, but he made them count.

He recorded three first-half touchdowns and Cass Myers added a 35-yard interception, leading unbeaten South Haven to a 61-14 rout of Attica on Friday night.

Spencer caught a 16-yard pass -- his only reception on the night -- for a 7-0 South Haven lead. He added touchdown runs of 14 and five yards later in the half.

South Haven led 37-0 at halftime.

Spencer finished with 22 yards on three carries. Cody Brown led South Haven's ground attack with 108 yards on seven carries.

South Haven outgained Attica in total yardage 273-123.

South Haven improves to 8-0 overall. Attica fell to 4-4.
