Area men compete at Wrangler Nat'l Finals

Two area men recently competed in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, held Nov. 30 - Dec. 9 in Las Vegas.
Stockton Graves, of Newkirk, finished in seventh place in steer wrestling, earning $41,992.17 during the event.
Jerome Schneeberger, of Ponca City, finished fifth in tie-down roping, earning $44,274.84 during the event.
For the season, Graves earned $104,361.90, finishing 11th in steer wrestling the ProRodeo Tour. Schneeberger finished in ninth place, with a total earning of $110,176.28 in tie-down roping.
